Courses Overview for Spring 2024 Term
● CKCS 149 - Python Programming
○ Synchronous delivery
○ 5 sections in total to choose
○ Monday through Thursday
○ 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

● CFPN 542 - Design for Mobile Devices

○ Asynchronous delivery
○ 5 sections in total to choose
Step 1: Register CKCS 149
● Go to the CKCS 149 - Python Programming page
Step 1: Register CKCS 149
● Select a section that suits your schedule the best
○ CKCS 149 - DAY: Mon 6 pm to 9 pm
○ CKCS 149 - DBY: Tue 6 pm to 9 pm
○ CKCS 149 - DCY: Tue 6 pm to 9 pm
○ CKCS 149 - DDY: Wed 6 pm to 9 pm
○ CKCS 149 - DEY: Thur 6 pm to 9 pm
● First comes first serve
○ You can’t select a section once it is full
● Ignore the tuition fee of $5.00
Step 1: Register CKCS 149
● Click “Add to Cart”
● Ignore the fees mentioned at the bottom
● Click “Close” after the section is added to the cart
Step 2: Register CFPN 542
● Go to the CFPN 542 - Design for Mobile Devices page
Step 2: Register CFPN 542
● This course is asynchronous, and you can engage
with the course material at any time of the week
● Select any of the following sections
○ CFPN 542 - DAY
○ CFPN 542 - DBY
○ CFPN 542 - DCY
○ CFPN 542 - DDY
○ CFPN 542 - DEY
● First comes first serve
○ You can’t select a section once it is full
● Ignore the tuition fee of $5
Step 2: Register CFPN 542
● Click “Add to Cart”
● Ignore the fees mentioned at the bottom
● Click “Checkout” after the section is added to the cart
Step 3: Checkout with discount code
● You should have two courses in your cart
● Select “International Fee $5.00” for both courses
● Select “Apply a discount” option for both courses
● Enter the discount code GP2024FS for both courses
● The total total amount will become $0.00
● Click “Checkout”

Step 4: Create an Account
● Choose “I’m a new TMU student”
● Enter your email address
Step 4: Create an Account
● Choose your own username and password
● The username must start with TMUCE_
Step 4: Create an Account
● Enter your personal information
Step 4: Create an Account
● Enter your email address, telephone and home address
Step 4: Create an Account
● Leave “Ontario Education Number (OEN)” blank
● Leave “Year Attended (format YYYY)” blank
● Leave “TMU Student Number” blank
● Choose Non Canadian: Student studying from
outside Canada under Citizenship
● Leave “Date of Entry into Canada” blank
Step 4: Create an Account
● Choose “I want to register in a certificate” under Certificate
● Select “Full Stack Developer”
● Click “Continue Checkout”
Step 5: Receive Your Student ID
● You will receive an email to the address you entered earlier in Step 4
● You can find your TMU Student Number in bold in the email
Step 6: Activate Your Online Identity and
TMU Email Address
● Visit the Online Identity Activation page
You may have to wait for up to 24 hours to activate your online identity after receiving your student ID number in your email
Step 6: Activate Your Online Identity
and TMU Email Address
● Choose I am a “TMU applicant, student or former student”
● Enter your “Student ID Number” under TMU applicant or student number

Enter the Student ID number you received in your email

here. Refer to Step 5 to find out where you can find the
student ID number.
