Re: Request to Complete Academic Coursework
I am Themba Mdlalose, a final year student in the faculty of arts in social science under the
department of economics. I am writing this letter to kindly request for an opportunity to
complete my missing coursework for one uncompleted course that I was enrolled in.
On the 12th of February 2024, after consultation with the Dean of Students’ Affairs and the
Director of Academics, I had to leave for Cape Town South Africa to register at the
University of Cape Town where I have been granted financial aid to pursue my studies. I was
granted permission by the Dean of Student Affairs to return during the supplementary exam
week to write my very final exams to conclude my studies at the University of Eswatini.
However, I have come through a challenge as I was not able to complete my coursework for
International Economics (ECO 419). I have communicated with my lecturer, and he asked
that I further write to you. Hence, I write this letter to seek for permission to complete my
coursework for this course as it is an essential prerequisite for the fulfilment of my degree.
