Evaluating Print Advertisements

What was the headline? Was it effective at getting your attention and making you want to
read the rest of the ad? Why or Why not?
The headline of the ad is "From The Heights Of French Alps, To The Heart Of UAE". It
is written in white text and placed at the top of the image. The text is relatively small and may
not be very attention-grabbing on its own.
How was imagery used in this ad? Was it effective at drawing your attention?
The image itself is the most eye-catching part of the ad. It features a bottle of Evian water
floating in a crystal-clear ocean, with snow-capped mountains in the background. The image is
visually interesting and creates a sense of adventure and luxury.
Did the ad have a copy? Did the copy appeal to your senses? If so, how? What keywords
did the copy use? Examples, compare. introducing, now, price, save, easy, and new.
The ad does not contain any copy other than the headline and the Evian logo. It does not
appeal to the senses in the way that some ads do, for example, by using words that evoke taste or
smell.

Was there a clear signature? Where was it located? What company was this ad created
for?
The clear signature is the Evian logo, which is located at the top left of the image. The
company behind the ad is Evian, a natural spring water company

Was there a slogan? If so, what was it?

Evian's slogan is "Live young."

Can you identify the Z formation?

The bottle in the ad is not in a Z formation. The Z formation is a marketing tactic
sometimes used to arrange products on shelves or in displays to subtly influence customers. The
bottle in this ad is floating upright in the water.
