Achievements-Experience Gained Since leaving secondary education I was unsure of which career path to follow so I took a 2 year break from education to decide. During this two year break I worked within a factory capacity which produced various parts made by thermo plastic and injection moulding my role within this employment was as a machine operator. I then chose to work in the construction field as a plasterer. I attended Mancat College of Construction for a period of two years to gain a qualification within this field and qualified with successful results gaining an NVQ level 2 award in this field. I then became a self employed plasterer which also involved carrying out plumbing tasks and a great deal of joinery to prepare any surfaces for a studded wall, I have also gained experience In use of a mitre saw to prepare skirting boards and architrave in preparation for door hanging which often required use of a plain and jigsaw these tasks were carried out for a period of three years until such time my work load became minimal due to the current recession and financial climate. I have worked within customers homes and gained a vast experience in customer service. During my time at college and whilst working within this chosen field I successfully gained knowledge within the following categories: Conforming to general workplace safety. Conforming to efficient work practices. Work Efficiency.

My most recent employment involved repossession of tenanted property and clearing the property out ready for the next tenant and this often involved making good of the interior of the property to ensure everything was of an excellent standard to deter negative feedback from any estate agents which checked the property after the repossession.

I have gained excellent feedback from customers not only regarding my workmanship but also regarding my positive attitude and confidence whilst within their homes. On receiving a request for work I assess the job in question and prepare a written quotation for the job including materials and labour and on completion prepare a statement of invoice for the customer. I have a positive attitude I enjoying working and contributing as a team and remain empathetic and diplomatic at all times I also enjoy working with my on initiative and like to input new suggestions and improvements to enhance a greater customer service record.
