Narrative Report on ASASHS 7TH Founding Anniversary
Seven years of ups and downs have been experienced by Alegria Stand
Alone Senior High School, but it has persevered in conquering challenges and
upholding its culture of excellence and unrivaled service. As a leading institution,
ASASHS has remained dedicated to developing students' individuality and skills. The
institution is pleased with the work it has done to make students globally competitive
and ready for the real world.
On November 9, 2023, Alegria Stand Alone Senior High School celebrated
their Foundation Day. With this year's theme, “Seven Years Strong: Celebrating
Timeless Traditions of Excellence," this institution celebrates its triumphs and
opportunities to better serve the learners and its entire educational community. This
is a unique opportunity for the entire school community to reflect on the institution's
history as well as the major advancements that have occurred since its founding. It is
a day set aside to honor the school's past, reflect on it, and reaffirm how important it
is to its future. The ASASHS community honored the joy of learning as they grew in
body, mind, and spirit. They also recognized their relationship with both former and
current ASASHS family members.
The 1st Day of the celebration November 9, 2023 started with a parade
together with the five teams, Indigo Lions, Yellow Tiger Warriors, Blue Eagles, Red
Wolves and Green Griffins. The celebration was held at the Alegria Stand Alone
Senior High School's ground together with the Students, Teachers, staffs, visitors
and especially to the father of Alegria, Hon. Rene G. Esma who has since 2016
contributed to the growth of the institution.
The prayer was the second item on the program after the national song of
the Philippines. Following that, Mr. Ydderd Acabo, a former Surigao del Norte
regional Volleyball player, lit the torch. He is a Grade 12 GAS student. After that, Mr.
Johnryver S. Seblero, a former Surigao del Norte regional volleyball player, led the
oath of sportsmanship. Line dancing was the first event to compete. Each team

displayed their individuality in their dance, giving the tournament their all. Prior to the
foundation day, the participants worked tirelessly for a month to create the
aforementioned line dance.
The candidates were then introduced after each team gave a fantastic line
dance performance. The ASASHS Foundation Day pageant features contestants for
each team to represent them. The contestants for ASASHS LGBT Queen 2023 will
then come after them. Everyone found the candidates' excellent representation of
their teams and dedication to the competition to be quite entertaining. The winner
announcement was made following the conclusion of the competition. Ms. Lara
Bande of the Blue Eagles was the representative who received the crown and a
sash. Each team eagerly awaited the news of the line dance competition's winner,
and to their surprise, it was revealed that the winning team was the Red Wolves.
The ASASHS students took part in the intramurals in the afternoon, where the
athletes performed their preferred sports. Even though they were unable to win the
tournament, ASASHS participants still found delight in participating in their beloved
sport.
Day 2 of the Foundation Day celebrations began with a color me fun run with
Alegria Stand Alone Senior High School's students, faculty, and staff. The "Laro ng
Lahi" with the five teams was the next activity after that. Fighting for champion ball
games took place in the Don Francisco “Kikoy” Bagol Sports Complex in the
afternoon. ASASHS Got Talent also opened at the ASASHS Multipurpose Building.
In this competition, each team displays its exceptional skills and qualities.
The ASASHS Coronation Night, which was hosted at the Don Francisco
“Kikoy” Bagol Sports Complex, was the last event. To see the coronation, everyone
assembled. Twenty individuals competed for the coveted position by presenting their
best work. The evening started off with the coronation opening rights, where the
candidates were presented, as well as the candidate intermissions. This was
followed by the official coronation, where all the candidates flaunted on stage while
dressed in evening dresses. The spectators took in the participants' grace and
charm. The entire audience had a great time, especially for the ASASHS pageant

candidates. Along with Ms. Jhimima Marie Ranario and Mr. Algie L. Limato, the
crowned MR. & MS. ASASHS 2023.
The institution's founding anniversary celebration has been remembered over
the years by providing especially memorable days of fun and camaraderie. This
yearly achievement symbolizes the school's unwavering desire and initiative to
uphold excellence while continuing to have a significant impact on the lives of its
students and the communities it serves. People at Alegria Stand Alone Senior High
School are joyful because Christ's love unites them, because it celebrates the thread
that unites them, foundation day is significant for this reason.
