net CELL (714) 458- 1309 APPLYING FOR a" CMM OPERATOR OR MECHANICAL INSPECTOR, QUALITY ENGINEERING WAGE RANGE - $20 - 26 HR. (PENDING JOB CLASSIFICATION) HELLO,

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to consider me for employment. I have written a summary overview of my extensive background job experience in Quality/ Aerospace. While I worked at Contour Aerospace/Aerostructures in Brea for roughly 10 years, I went from a basic mechanical inspector ( precision machined parts ) for approx 3 years, then advanced to the CMM Dept., where I ran two automated machines (inquire on my detailed CMM experience information sheet if needed ). I ran the CMMaS for approx. 4 years continually, measuring airframe/ wing structural and profiled surfaces, and tooling fixtures. From that point, since I had because so knowledgeable on the BAe project, and the customers liked my integrity, I was asked to take on the Q.E. functions. I became the primary quality contact and focal point for my assigned customers, and their related issues and concerns. I did very well in this position. I have letters of reference from them, I was even sent to England to help analysis a afit aissue they were having out on their production line with a landing gear component we manufactured. I was also able to re-establish confidence with BAe Airbus and have the imposed mandatory source inspection removed. Note a" I have a letter from them referencing this statement. Customer concerns are very important, and itas highly important how you handle them. Concerned customers can go from a state of relaxed to an a very concerned Issue level a, if not given prompt and precise attention to effectively correct, or speak intelligently to them regarding the issue at hand. I hope this gives you a good view into my personal customer service philosophy. Please see my attached resume, and hopefully you will find my skills to be a suitable match to your needs.

BEST REGARDS,

FROM: Walter Quinlan British Aerospace Airbus West Coast Manager West Coast Office U.S.A. Procurement Quality 949 770-5520 Fax 949 770-5520 TO: Nick Pearcy Contour Aerospace, Brea Ca. Quality Director, Ken Johnson RE : Support for the BAe Airbus programs by Nick Pearcy I would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation and thanks to Nick Pearcy for the dedication and hard work to improve the overall product and quality awareness over the BAe Airbus product at Contour Aerospace. Just to note some problem areas that I personally had direct visibility of before Nick Pearcy was assigned to the BAe program, we had experienced poor quality ,late deliveries, paperwork issue on receipt and an overall lack of any quality standard of product being delivered from Contour Aerospace . Due to the issues noted above, I had to impose ( SAV) source assurance verification for BAe this is a very extreme position and indicates that an out of control condition exists within the supplier. Without having the support and a person such as Nick Pearcy with the dedication , professionalism and willingness to hold his ground in some very difficult situations we would not have had the improvements we see today. Once more I would like to express the appreciation from BAe and myself for all the help and support to drive down concessions and to achieve a more stable and acceptable standard of product. Regards, WALTER QUINLAN Walter Quinlan BAe Airbus Quality Manager USA ( See next page for letter of recommendation ) May 25, 1999 MR. ROBERT TRIPLETT QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER THE AEROSTRUCTURES CORP. DBA CONTOUR AEROSPACE Bob,

In the last 1 years I have worked with NICK PEARCY, he has shown himself to be both a responsive and proactive Q.E. with exemplary dedication to the success and smooth running of the Quality functions of the BAe program. He has demonstrated his ability as a Q.E., who stands in a class by himself. Nick is a much sought after individual who has been actively recruited by various other programs. He has always been a pleasure to work with and has earned the respect of my counterparts and myself for his dedication to task and strong work ethic. Nick has made tremendous improvements in the daily operations of the BAe project. With an increasing number of parts and dealing with the new systems and new customer at Contour, Nick has adapted in a rapid fashion. This work load in my opinion can only be handled by the most experience and knowledgeable Q.E. at Contour. Initially when Nick was assigned to this project we did not have source delegation. Through his persistence and implementation of the new shipping process we no longer require source for any BAe parts. Our delivery documentation is now 100% accurate all the time. His dedication to the BAe Program has led to a production and meeting of scheduled dates of BAe that due to his fine work in the service of this Aerospace as a whole, Nick Pearcy has earned the advancement with his abilities and experience. Respectfully, NICK COVELLO BAE PROGRAM MANAGER THE AEROSTRUCTURES CORP. DBA CONTOUR AEROSPACE 714-674-3462 direct increase in parts. I believe program and Contour opportunity for
