8.3 LEVEL 3: FEATURES

This section manages the extra operating features of the system.

SUB-LEVEL FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

This section defines the System Lock feature, which prevents unauthorized access to the control panel. The
code acts as a bypass (factory default is 247); once it has been entered, the control is fully accessible.
Once the deck is restored and/or the restraint released, the system lock reactivates. It also reactivates if the
code is entered but no further action occurs for 60 seconds.

1 By Restraint The shelter powers on after the restraint is engaged or bypassed, and continues until fully
inflated. Releasing the restraint deflates the shelter

2 By Deck The shelter powers on after the 'Deck' button is touched, and continues until fully inflated.
The deck can then be deployed. To deflate the shelter, park the dock.

• When the 'Standalone Wait' function setting is set to 'No Wait,' the shelter deflates
Auto immediately after the dock is parked
2 • When the 'Standalone Wait' function is set to 'Door Closed,' the shelter deflates after
Shelter
the door closes
• When the 'Standalone Wait' function is set to 'Close Button,' the shelter deflates after
the door's close button is touched and released

3 By Door The shelter powers on when the 'Door Open' button is pressed. The shelter deflates when
after the door is closed and the 'Door Close' button is released

Code must be entered to release restraint.

9.0 BLUE GENIUS™ V3 STRONGARM™ SVR303 LEARN PROCEDURE

When the SVR303 vehicle restraint (hydraulic or air) is being installed or serviced, the SVR303 Learn Procedure must be performed to
ensure proper engage range.

1. Ensure that the SVR303 is in the home position.

1. Ensure the SVR303 is fully operational prior to the procedure (i.e. no LCD fault or error messages).

2. Ensure that there is no ICC bar or obstruction in the path of the arm.

3. Enter the System Menu and navigate to DIAGNOSTICS - SVR LEARN

4. Press "*" to start the procedure.

The arm should rise to maximum travel, the lock should engage, the arm retracts to the lock position, lock disengages, and arm
returns to the home position.

If the procedure has been successful, the control will briefly display the Max and Lock positions it has learned. The settings will
automatically saved. The control will then return to the normal running mode and the restraint is ready for use.

10.0 BLUE GENIUS™ V3 VL VERTICAL STORING DOCK LEVELER TILT SENSOR LEARN PROCEDURE

To set the home position of the VL Vertical Storing Dock Leveler, enter the following sequence on the Blue Genius™ control panel.

1. Ensure that the VL Vertical Storing Dock Leveler is in the home position.

2. Enter the system menu and navigate to DIAGNOSTICS - TILT SENSOR

3. Press 'SEL.' The display will read "H:???" "D:???" if there is a communication fault.

4. Press '*' button. The value of H (Home Position) will automatically adjust relative to D (Dock Position) by 2.
