The MSN Challenge 2.

0 Rules & Layout


The MSN Challenge 2.0 is scheduled to take place on Saturday March the 24th. The Game will approximately last 1 hr 30 minutes. There are 5 participating teams, 3 different categories to choose from during question round. 4 Rotations each equipped with 4 rounds. Below the following is included Explanation of the Give or Take feature for the game. The Give or Take Feature: is designed to help out another team of your choice or to sabotage another team of your choice for a strategic move.

The give or take feature is only granted to your team if you answer correctly any of the questions from any of the categories in Rotation 2-4 (Rotation # 1 does not have this feature). If you answer correctly then you can steal half of the points in any of the teams in the rotation. If you answer correctly then you can give back half of the points in any of the teams in the rotation. You can only choose to do one give or take OR simply none at all.

For Example: If Team A scores 15 points from answering a Music question correctly they get 15 points added to their point ranking and they can choose to steal any other teams points in the example that Team B has 40 points and Team A decides to take half of their points leaving them with only 20 points left. OR. For Example: If Team A scores 15 points from answering a Music question correctly they get 15 points added to their point ranking and they can choose to give a team of their choice their points back (Granted that they were stolen by some other team) in the event that Team C got half of their points taken away from Team D, Team A can grant Team C back half of their loss points. There will be 4 Rotations; each rotation will have four rounds. The model below demonstrates the structure of the game: Rotation # 1: Round One Each team will choose a category and a question will be given to each team. Round Two- Repeat Round Three- Repeat Round Four- Repeat (END OF Rotation # 1) Team with the lowest score from Rotation # 1 is Eliminated. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Rotation # 2: Round One Each team will choose a category and a question will be given to each team. Any team that gets an answer right will gain points from the category of their choice from which they answered correctly AND they will also be offered the Give or Take feature. Round Two Repeat/Give or Take feature applied Round Three- Repeat/Give or Take feature applied Round Four- Repeat/Give or Take feature applied (END OF Rotation # 2) Team with the lowest score from Rotation # 2 is Eliminated The game will then carry on into Rotation #3 and # 4 using the same format as Rotation # 2 with the Give or Take feature applied in each round.
