The Quantity Surveying and Construction Professional Group is the home within RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) for professionals who have an interest in the cost and procurement of construction projects.
With a membership in excess of 140 000 spread across 146 countries, RICS sets the professional and educational standards required from its members. However, the Institution is more than just a group of like-minded professionals. Crucially, RICS Royal Charter requires that the Institution always acts impartially and in the public interest. RICS is divided into separate professional groups which are, in turn, split into cluster groups Built Environment, Land and Property. The Built Environment cluster includes the Building Control, Building Surveying, Project Management and Quantity Surveying and Construction Professional Groups.

Each professional group is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the future of the profession and identifying the information needs of its members. The Quantity Surveying and Construction Professional Group has approximately 40,000 members who benefit from:
