PERSONAL STATEMENT

If I were to describe myself I would say that I am hard working and inquisitive. I am not afraid to tackle a challenge. I believe I am disciplined and energetic as well as being sociable. I look forward to enjoyable and interesting new courses at an American university and the new challenges it will bring. I am pursuing my bachelors in Pharmacy from University of Peshawar. I started my educational career with a medical and research oriented mind with the aim of achieving excellence in medicines, for; this is the most appealing field to me. During my progress in B-Pharmacy so far, I have developed keen interest in the field of pharmacology. Apart from teaching, I am also proceeding with the objective of doing research in the drugs applications and the associated techniques in the production and development of drugs. I am optimistic that my hard work will culminate in a milestone in this field of study. I enjoy working on my own on coursework projects but I am also good as part of a team. I enjoy debate and am articulate and gregarious. I have an affinity for challenges, an aptitude for teaching, strong foundations in medical Science to build upon and the desire to make a meaningful impact in whatever way I can. I would like to do my PhD to make more meaningful contributions in research and teaching.

The program offered by USEF Pakistan will help me in achieving my goal (of pursuing a career in research and teaching) and eventually

returning to my country and providing a strong base for students to pursue studies in my area. It will also give me an insight into the American way of life and also the human psyche. I want to convey my cultural heritage across the sea.
