Integrity, justice, equity and ethical practices are important values and attributes that leaders of tomorrow have to embrace. Through the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Ambassador Programme, the ICAC has been collaborating with tertiary institutions to enhance students awareness of the importance of personal and professional ethics, as well as encouraging students to take ownership in promoting probity to their peers and the community at large. Students selected to the Programme will form an Executive Committee to organize activities to promote probity to their fellow students. Training will be provided by the ICAC and SAO to equip the Ambassadors with knowledge and skills to organize your activities. The ambassadors will also enjoy the privileges to: 1. become ICAC Voluntary Summer Helpers (VSH)* participate in various ICAC activities, e.g. Summer Exchange Tour 3. network with Ambassador of other universities by joining the i-League+ * Arrangement of VSH scheme is subjected to the final decision of ICAC. + An association for former and present ICAC Ambassadors recruited from different universities. Application Please submit your completed application form to Student Affairs Office Counter (1/F, Block A) on or before 5:00pm of 7 October 2011 and mark your interview time-slot. Intended Learning Outcomes Upon completion of the programme, students are expected to:
Appreciate the importance of integrity and probity in the maintenance of a fair and just society Know more about ICAC and become its partner in probity promotion Enhance your leadership and interpersonal skills through planning and implementing activities for fellow students
