SUBJECT Review of delinquencies for FY 1011

DISCUSSION Marco referred to a list of LMUDA delinquent Parcels on page 5 of the agenda packet and explained that the Diocese is contesting its assessment with the County and is listed as delinquent while the claim I s pending. The total delinquencies form private entities totals $43,924.00. Marco asked Aliza for her assistance in obtaining an updated remittance detail from Bernadette that shows April tax levies collected and a report on all city and public agency assessments.

ACTION? No action taken.

Review of impact on budget

Marco referred to the budget on page 3 of the agenda packet and explained that the YTD actual is $862,451.00 which reflects 90% of the transfer. $862,451.00 is 90% of $961,612.00, leaving us $82,875.00 off of our 94% collection rate goal of $1,044,487.00.

Proceeding with Franklin Square Task Force work

Marco suggested that we hold a No action taken. meeting of the Franklin Square Task Force following the July 13th Joint Board Meeting. Chris Curtis to identify the point of contact at the Kapor Foundation (likely Stephen DeBerry), and reach out to him regarding his availability to meet. The following people will be included in the Franklin Square Task Force: John Bruno, Laurie Cooperman-Rosen, Travis Kuhl, Mike Ghielmetti, Daniel Patterson or Ron Boyd(Plum), Rick Mitchell (Lukas), Deborah Boyer Stephen DeBerry (Kapor Foundation), William Purcell, Chris Curtis, Frank Ciglar (Bench and Bar). We will proceed with a meeting once the availability of the Kapor representatives has been confirmed. The August board meeting was confirmed for August 4th at 8:00 a.m. in the Kaiser Center, 2nd Floor Conference Room. Marco explained that he and Steve had met with Mark McClure of CCIG and he indicated that he really wants to resolve the issue with the Fox. Parcel 4 and Forest City are still unknowns. Currently no applications for hardship reimbursement have been submitted to LMUDA. None No action taken.
