Morgan Stanleys robust custody system provides timely, consistent and accurate information on trades. It can clear and custody a variety of assetsincluding equity, fixed-income and foreign exchange products, as well as options, swaps, warrants, futures and other derivatives.

This multi-asset class, multi-currency system integrates the entire trade cycle, preventing the inconsistencies that result when separate margin, portfolio, clearance and custody and portfolio management systems feed position information to clients. This is especially valuable internationally, when dealing with different market practices, accounting standards and time zones.

Morgan Stanley assures maximum control over core processes by maintaining their own global clearance and custody network, which includes self-clearing operations that let them pass along cost savings in the largest markets.

It has active clearing arrangements in more than 60 countries, many of which operate with varying technology platforms. Morgan Stanley has the ability to pre-match in all international markets where thet are providing custody and clearing, and they can also report trade discrepancies(Trade Breaks) on pre-settlement and failing items via the same online functionality for many of the above mentioned product types. Any unmatched transactions are immediately communicated to clients for resolution. Project Lead: -Started the project as Transition Manager and successfully completed KT in Client Site (New York ) and built the team in offshore . -Mentored and trained the team to start the steady state support

PRIME stores all the financial products from various feed from Boomberg, reuters, gmi, nikki etc. These data are customized at prime database for use in GS business like brokerage, loan division, equity, derivatives etc. As a Team lead of enhancement team worked in : Requirement analysis , designing , Coding in Sybase stored procedure, Sybase query tunning, Shell scripting. Testing & implementation in production.
