What is an e-portfolio?
An e-portfolio is the use of electronic
technologies that allow the portfolio developer to
collect and organize artifacts in many formats
(audio, video, graphics, and text. Barrett (2000)
An e-portfolio is an electronic format for
learners to record their work, their
achievements and goals, to reflect on their
learning, and share. It enables learners to
represent the information in different formats
and to take the information with them
between institutions
Introduction
This is an electronic document which evidenced
Asmel Castros teaching process through the
practice he had developed as English teacher
from High school and its supported the tool he
used in that process. And the aim of this e-
portfolio it is to shared in a virtual way with other
people around the word the process and tool to
effort the teaching practice and to take this
portfolio as an example to being improve for
teaching.
Resume
Herson Asmel Castro Rivas is twenty one years old,
he studied his elementary school in Centro
Escolar 14 de Abril From 1998 to 2007. After that
he graduated from High School at Instituto
Nacional El Transito where he finished his high
school study in two years from 2008 to 2009.
At the present time, he is studying Bachelor
Degree in English since 2010 in Gerardo Barrios
University.
Teaching Experienced
Asmel started with his teaching practice on April
07th in 2014 at Instituto Nacional El Transito
there he was a tutor from the 1 year vocational
technician, he was teaching English in that
institutions for a period of forty hours. There he was
teaching on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
sometimes. He was the responsible of supervising
homework, implementing activities for production,
creating lesson plans and checking student's
progress in that period of time.
Effort to improve teaching

Herson Asmel attended the first English congress in
San Miguel at Tropico Inc where there were
many congressman who talked about Web2.0
there the congressman explained how teacher
can applied the web2.0 as a useful tool in
teaching in order to improve the learning process
and being innovate as well.
Facebook Closet Group
There is a thought which
said that If the student
does not learn the way we
teach, we have to teach
them in the way they learn
because of that this social
network is a good tool of
improvement the classroom
and also as a good tool of
reinforce because students
nowadays most of the time
they spent on Facebook and
we can used that network in
order to assigned then a
series of activities to do
related to the previews
class.

Duolingo
I implemented this web site into my
practice in order to increase the
vocabulary of my students. And
also this is an innovated web site in
which the students can create
their own profile and started with a
series of activities which involved
the four macro skill.
Youtube
Here you can find a lot of
thing to improve your
teaching practices and
get students moving
around the English
language because you
can implemented this
web site in order to
motivated the classroom
with meaningful videos
related to the topic given.
Evidences(Diploma)
Conclusion
The teaching portfolio and e-portfolio as well,
consist in two parts; provide evidences and the
reflection of that evidences. That is why creating
an e-portfolio is too important for a professional
development because this document reflects
your work as a teacher and provided a feedback
in order to improved what you have done before,
in short, we can make a reflection about our
process and look for possible thing to improve in
our practice.
