The demand for travel to cities has greatly increased over the last
few decades. While many travel for business , others are travelling
on leisure time

to learn about other cultures,

to develop their specific interests,

to seek entertainment

Near the site is also the Surpaneshwar
Shiva temple

The Kevadia colony with all basic facility,


where the employees of the dam live and
places for visitors to stay.
There is a pond near dam site and
crocodile sanctuary at some distance
from the main canal discharge. There is
also helipad available for extra facilities.
"statue of unity" would be consider as the
tourist attraction spot at national level.
