processor is named as Intel Atom processor.
IBM has developed 3D stackable 32 nm high-k/metal gate
technology with copper through silicon vias for SOI embedded
DRAM with upto 500MHz operation.
State of the art fab cost can be upto (3-4) billion dollars.TSMC
has invested 9.3 billion dollars in its Fab15 300mm wafer
manufacturing facility in Taiwan .
Recovering the fab cost requires a modular process technology
approach capable of producing diverse products.
