This document analyzes the use of DiI liposomes with varying concentrations of PEG to determine liposome diameter using time-correlated single photon counting. Higher PEG concentrations led to better fitting of fluorescence correlation spectroscopy curves and indicated smaller, more stable liposomes. While liposome diameter did not change over time, anionic liposomes had smaller diameters than normal liposomes.
