Should FreshVeg sell fruits & vegetables to retailers instead of
end customers
Freshveg should act as the aggregators of demands from various
retailers. Hence they should focus on catering the demand of retailers
instead of end customers

FreshVeg should set up a Farmer Producer Organisation (FPOs) under NABARD Scheme and should
collaborate with companies like Big Basket and Grofers . The reasons being:
It will become a single point of sale for farmers and thus will attain higher product availability to
cater to vendors like Big Basket and Grofers
It will have an important role to play in produce aggregation, value addition/marketing and
delivering value added services to members for ensuring optimal returns
It will get support from NABARD under the FPOs scheme in terms of finance, technical, market
access, professional management for three years
Marketing strategy for FreshVeg:
Product: we can leverage the idea of being certified by NABARD to ensure fresh quality fruits and
vegetables to our customers
Price: being the product aggregators, we can have the competitive advantage of providing products
at lesser price to customers
