Sahuarita Parks

The Sahuarita parks are 1.4 miles away from The Early Childhood Center. They consist
of the safari park (with large safari animals), the Sahuarita lake, ball courts, bike trails,
the bark park, community pools, picnic areas, and a mini golf course. The Sahuarita
parks have community events such as, coffee socials, story time for tots, a farmers
market, and teen indoor movies. The parks also have picnic areas that can be used for
events such as birthday parties and other celebrations. This is a great place for
families to explore outdoors and for children to explore the outdoor environment.
Sahuarita Public Library

The Sahuarita public library is only 0.4 miles away from my center. This resource
offers toddler story time, preschool story time, one-to-one computer help,
mindfulness meditation, and gaming. In addition to this, there is also free Wi-Fi,
computers for community use, a meeting room that can fit up to ten people, a
study room, and printing is available for 10 cents per page. You can also reserve
books. The library is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and its
open Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Its closed Sunday and Monday. This resource
can be used to introduce children to literature, its a resource for teachers so that
they can check out books, and its a resource for parents as well.
Sahuarita Town Hall

The Sahuarita Town Hall is 0.2 miles away from The Early Childhood Center. Here
you can get business licenses, you can learn about elections, parks and recreation
information can be found here, and the sheriffs department and municipal courts
are here. You can also find passport information here. This resource manages the
community and children can take fieldtrips here to learn more about their
community. This resource would be more useful to the parents or guardians of
students.
Green Valley Pecan Company

The Green Valley Pecan Company is 1.7 miles away from the Early Childhood Center.
The Green Valley Pecan Company is one of the worlds largest growers and processors
of pecans as well as the biggest exporter of pecans to Europe. This pecan grove has
7,000 acres and 106,000 trees. As the year goes by, you can see the trees changing
color, which provides children with a great learning opportunity. This is another place
for possible fieldtrips, that can give children new experiences.
