Pendidikan adalah usaha sadar dan terencana


(sistematis) untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar dan
proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif
mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki
kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri,
kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, serta
keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat,
bangsa dan negara. (Pasal 1 UU No. 20/2003)
PENGERTIAN PELATIHAN

Training is a planned effort to facilitate the learning of job-related


knowledge, skills, and behavior by employee. (Noe; Hollenbeck;
Gerhart & Wright - 2003)
Training meant formal training thats planned in advanced and has
a structured format. (Robbins, Stephen P. - 2001)
Training is defined as any attempt to improve employee
performance on a currently held job or one related to it. This usually
means changes in specific knowledge, skills, attitudes, or behaviors.
To be effective, training should involve a learning experience, be a
planned organizational activity, and be designed in response to
identified needs. (Bernardin and Russell - 1998)
Training is a learning experience in that it seeks a relatively
permanent change in an individual that will improve the ability to
perform on the job. (DeCenzo and Robin 1999)
