his relationship to both the father and mother. Filipinos are characterized of having this kind of system. Every Filipinos is related to a number of individuals and this could explain why Filipinos are too kin-oriented or have close family lies. • UNILINEAL KINSHIP SYESTEM – Is a kinship group organized through identification with only one line relationship either through the male or the female. It is through the male then the line is known as patrilineal. • PATRILINEAL – This means that all the children of the father belong to his group.
