NEED OF STUDY
 Many tower facilities are coming of age and the
problem of anchor shaft corrosion is now becoming
an industrial issue.
 To make the structure more durable against high
intensity winds and earthquake.
 To improve the communication system so as to serve
better during calamities and post-war conditions.

SUMMARY OF LITERATURE REVIEW
 Corrosion of guyed tower anchors is fast becoming
an issue of critical importance.

 Indian code has to be updated in comparison to ASCE

provisions, as it is updating itself with time.

 Studying the effects of seismic forces.

OBJECTIVES
Based on the Literature review, following objectives are
determined:

 To determine modifications required as to make the

design structurally more sound and economical.
 Analyze the structure against High intensity winds and
earthquakes for better durability.
 To improve the communication system so as to serve
better during calamities and post-war conditions.
