    Carcinoid :

    Brunners gland adenoma : Leiomyoma : neoplasm of


    -Arise from neuroendocrine
    - Very rare cells smooth muscle in the stomache
    -symptom Due to bleeding or -secretes large amount of but very rare in duodenal
    intestinal obstuction serotonin -pain resembling peptic disease

    Villous adenoma :
    Heterotopic gastric mucosa : associated more often with larger
    -finding normal tissue on foreign adenomas and more severe
    sites Benign degrees of dysplasia.
    -no clinical significance (cauliflowerlike projections)

    TUMOR DUODENUM

    Symptoms : Treatment :
    -pancreatico-duodenectomy for
    Malignant -pain, obstuction
    localized lesions
    bleeding and -paliative bypass procedures if not
    jaundice resectable
    -radiotherapy
