What is television commercial ?
 Using television as medium promoting any goods,
services or organizations.

 Purpose is to inform potential customers about products


and services and also inform how to obtain and use this.

 15-60 Sec and mostly during program break.

 Most effective way of advertising and promotion helps to


create brand image and make aware about product.
Intro of BD TVC Industry

 TVC start playing in 1990s.


 Get popularity after 2005.
 Mobile companies are the change maker.
 YouTube has great contribution.

 Find out viewer’s remarks and trends of
Bengali TVC.

 Impacts of Bengali TVC in youth’s mind.

 Reasons behind acceptance or rejection


by the young generation.

 Identify the way to make it popular

 Expect to find Bengali Television commercial
plays a great role in the lifestyle, dress up
and activities of young generation.
 Bengali TVC has a positive impact on the
youth mind.
 Youth are accepting Bengali TV commercial
spontaneously.

Primary Data
√ Primary data collected with help of survey
questionnaires in both online and offline.

√ Target age group was 18-30 who frequently watch


television commercials.

√ Google doc for online record data and manually from


the students of NSU.

√ Interviewed 5 audience of Bengali television


commercials to know about their views and thoughts.

 Library resources along with research oriented books


and articles.

 Gather information from newspaper, magazine and


journals related to ‘advertisement and youth
perception’

 Searched Google and Wikipedia to find out online


articles and blogs related to my research topic.

 Collected 100 response in online and 30 response in
offline from target group.

Research findings
 Young generation are not accepting Bengali TVC
spontaneously.
 Bengali TVC has very little contribution in the lifestyle
of youth.

 They think Bengali TVC are not up to date and lack of


quality.

My hypothesis is proved wrong.


Limitation

o Shortage of time

o People are reluctant to provide information.

o Survey conducted on only limited number of


people. So, tough to get clear idea about
whole target group.
Conclusion & Recommendation
1. A very potential industry. Lots of scope to
expand.

2. Focus on audience preference and creativity


rather than making as usual TVC.

3. Emphasize on motivational and inspirational TVC.

4. Try to keep balance with reality.
