Guyana National Cadet Corps (GNCC)
Was reintroduce on 19th January 2018 at a ceremony which
was held at Hope Secondary School, East Coast Demerara. It
accommodate for over 487 students from among six(6)
Secondary School across Guyana, namely: the North Ruimveldt
Multilateral, Stewartville Secondary, Hope Secondary, Berbice
Secondary, St. Ignatius Secondary and the Mackenzie High
School.

GNCC Main Aim
• Is ensure that youths are set on a path to realising their
true potential, while at the same time, developing
certain life skills and understandings.
Subjects Offered:
Mathematics
English
Spanish
Portuguese
Civics
Physical training
First-Aid
Dexterity-Drills
Home Management
Etc.
Cadets During Training
The GNCC is a very rewarding programme and
encourages children to give of the best of their
abilities.
GNCC First Anniversary
• On the 1st March this year, the Guyana National Cadet Corpe
celebrated its 1st Anniversary. In collaboration, it held numerous
activities to benefit the students. These activities include a
movie night, community service, etc.
