Electrical Tools
• Electrical tools is a supporting tool used to
make, repair or to treat tools or objects
related to electrical energy. Electrical tools
have evolved from time to time, before
this electric tools was often present,
electric accidents often took human lives.
That is why electrical tools is made to
prevent accidents that occur on electrical
equipment. And now this electrical tools is
increasingly sophisticated, because it has
entered industry 4.0 era.

Description

Mechanical electrical tools is a tool used to repair,

maintain, or make electrical equipment that is still mechanical
and still depends a lot on human power.
1. Screwdrivers

A screwdriver is a tool, manual or powered, for screwing and unscrewing

(inserting and removing) screws. A typical simple screwdriver has a handle and a shaft,
ending in a tip the user puts into thescrew head before turning the handle. The shaft is
usually made of tough steel to resist bending or twisting.

2. Miser

To soften or misering the surface of objects, especially those made of wood.

There are several forms of miser, among others: square miser, rectangular miser,
triangular miser, round miser, half round miser, and oval miser.
3. Pliers
Pliers are a hand tool used to hold objects firmly. They are also useful for bending and
compressing a wide range of materials. Generally, pliers consist of a pair of metal first-class levers
joined at a fulcrum positioned closer to one end of the levers, creating short jaws on one side of the
fulcrum, and longer handles on the other side. This arrangement creates a mechanical advantage,
allowing the force of the hands grip to be amplified and focused on an object with precision. The jaws
can also be used to manipulate objects too small or unwieldy to be manipulated with the fingers.
Kinds of pliers :
a. Combination pliers.
Combination pliers are used to hold, twist and cut workpieces, such as wire (wires). The use of
combination pliers may not cut the cable by means of pliers being hit with a hammer, because it will
damage the hammer.
b. Cutting pliers
Special cutting pliers are used to cut wire / cable.
4. Hammer

A hammer is a handheld tool used to strike another object. It consists of a handle to

which is attached a heavy head, usually made of metal, with one or more striking surfaces. Other
common types include the ball-peen hammer and the sledge hammer.

a. plastic hammer
serves to hit objects from soft material.
b. Rubber Hammer
Rubber hammer is usually used for plate work, this hammer we usually use to flatten the surface of
the workpiece flat on the milling machine table. This hammer has the advantage that the pressure
generated by the hammer is not too large when compared to a hammer made of iron.
5. pinch
To make a sign or point on an object in the measurement process.

6. vise

Ragum is a clamping device for clamping workpieces that will be filed, chiseled, sawed,
stamped, diseneyed, and so on.
7. whipsaw
Whipsaw is a simple cutting tool and groove maker, the sides of which are hardened
cutting teeth.

8. drilling machine
The drilling machine is used to puncture the workpiece. The drill installation work is used
to make auxiliary holes to install screw nails on wood or walls.
ADVANTAGE

Hand tools offer the advantage of precision. Fine carving and detailed work
such as cabinetry, building of musical instruments and decorative work requires minute
control over a tool that is sometimes easier with hand tools. Hand tools also always
work. You require no power, fuel or air pressure and can utilize the tool at any time. The
smaller and more compact nature of hand tools compared to power tools makes them
easier and lighter to transport as well.
DISADVANTAGE

The primary disadvantage of hand tools is the time that it takes to complete
simple tasks. Hammering shingles into a roof by hand, for instance, takes much more
time than nailing down shingles with an air-nailer. Industrial woodworking companies
could never meet demand with handsaws. Also, more skill is required to use hand
tools than most power tools. Making a clean and straight cut using a handsaw is much
more difficult than when using a tool like a table saw with guides and a high cutting
speed.
Description
Automatic electrical tools are electrical devices used to repair, maintain, or
make electrical equipment using robotic technology and many use sensors to make it
easier for humans to use them. automatic electrical tools are also increasingly developing
in the current industrial era 4.0.
1. 3d Printer

3D printer is the process of making three-dimensional solid objects from a digital

design into a 3D form that can not only be seen but also held and has volume. 3D printers are
achieved using an additive process, where an object is created by laying sequential layers of
material. 3D printing is a different process from traditional mechanical engineering
(subtractive processes) which largely depends on the removal of material by drilling, cutting,
and so on.
2. Cutting Machine

Cutting machine is one of the automatic tools used to cut a tool that is needed
in a particular industry. in pt trias this tool can be used for cutting parts of the panel.
• Advantage

The advantage is that this tool works

automatically which is guided through a computer
system without having to use human power, making it
easier for human work.
• Disadvantage
The disadvantage is that this tool has a larger size
and heavier weight, so it is not as practical as
mechanical electrical tools. Besides, this tools also
usually has a much more expensive price and more
complicated maintenance.
• TURBIN
Steam turbines are one type of machine that uses an external method of outside
combustion engines. Heating fluid vapor work is carried out outside the system.

The working principle of a steam turbine installation in general is starting from

heating water to a steam boiler. Water vapor from high temperature and high pressure
heating is then used to drive the turbine shaft. The steam coming out of the turbine can
then be reheated or directly channeled to the condenser to be cooled. In the condenser the
steam turns back into water with pressure and temperature that has decreased. then the
water is poured back into the steam with the help of a pump. From the explanation above it
can be concluded that a steam turbine is a generator engine that works with a closed cycle
system.
