STORY
 Mary Jane & Dan with kids get relocated to Seattle from
Southern California.

 Jane found a supervisory position in operations area in


First Guarantee Financial and Dane at Microrule.

 Both enjoyed working in the new office which was


bustling with great energy.

 Twelve months after moving, Dan died of a genetic


oddity.
FIRST GUARANTEE FINANCIAL
 Mary Jane considered to be an efficient employee and
had a great reputation as a supervisor.
 Her direct reports and associated enjoyed working with
and for her.
 In sharp contrast, the third floor was complete opposite.
 Words like unresponsive, entitlement, zombie,
unpleasant, slow, wasteland and negative were used.
 Everyone dreaded any contact with the operations
group.
 Few weeks later, she was promoted to the
operations group on the third floor.
 Mary Jane was aware of the terrible reputation.
 Had tough time understanding the work & the
people.
 Mary Jane gets a call from her boss, Bill.
 Informs about the Leadership Group and the
feedback given by them.
 “Toxic Energy Dump” special name given.
 Boss wants more energy, passion & spirit on the
job.

 Large crowd of well-dressed people were
clustered around & everyone was laughing.
 Place had life & energy, she enjoyed it.
 Meets a man called Lonnie.
 She talks about her workplace.
 Lonnie says ‘Attitude makes the difference’
