Location 2: Lowestoft beach

I chose this location as I thought that the beach setting fits in
with the happy, summer vibes that I want to give my
audience. I also felt that a beach is a place where you can go
to feel free and release yourself from pressures in life so it
fits well with my carefree and happy video. The calm
environment also connotes the romance I aim to show
between

characters sit on the beach and near the water as it is sandy
so it won’t be uncomfortable. Also, it isn’t very busy during
the hours I am aiming to film in. The cons of this location is
that I need to arrange transport to get there and that they
sometimes hold evets here that I would need to be aware of.
Location 3: Corton Beach Lowestoft
I chose this location for the same reasons as Lowestoft beach
however the cons are that it is very stony so my actors wouldn’t
be able to do all the action I anticipated like sitting on the
ground. The rocks are also in the way of the view and there
would be more of a safety risk when standing in the sea as they
may stand on stones. The stones ruin the exotic, summer
atmosphere I wanted in my video so that is why I decided not
to use this location.
Location 1: Everitts Park, Oulton
Broad
I chose this location as it is a very peaceful
environment with lots of nature. This links to
my video as I want to show the couple as
very carefree and happy with this calm
location provides. It also aids the romantic
aspect of the video as the greenery and
lights connote that emotion. Everitts Park is
an exciting location as there is lots to do, eg
the park, boat ride, relaxing, which is the
vibe I want for my video.
The lack of people that will be in the location
at the time of filming also helps my message
that the two are so happy with life and each
other that nothing else matters.
I also would like the use the covered platform
(shown in top right image) for my main actor
to perform the song in. This would be useful
as there is lots of room for movement and as it
is raised I can use a variety of shot types. It
also resembles a stage which aids the idea
that he is imagining he is performing to an
audience.
