VS

 The battle between McDonald's Corporation (NYSE: MCD) and Burger King
represents one of the most iconic and important business rivalries in
American history.
 We live in an era where advertising is king. So companies have to find new
ideas, to raise their awareness and catch attention, to reach greater extent.
One of those is the brand war between McDonalds and Burger King.
 In 2016 McDonalds created an Adv and its goal was to show that they are
everywhere, compared to Burger King that had only opened a few
restaurants at the time. In the ad, we can see that McDonald’s has placed a
giant road sign showing the distance and the way to go to the closer Burger
King. Next to that, there was the McDonald sign, just at 5km instead of
200+km for BK.
Burger King replied very quickly and proposed the sequel of the spot from
McDonald’s. after the normal ending, Burger King added a part where we see a
consumer going to McDonald’s and asking for a coffee, because they have a lot
of road to do because they are going to Burger King. So BK even thanks
McDonald’s to be everywhere, because it allows fast-food lovers to make a pause
at their place, and then go back on the road to go to Burger King.
Burger King always teased McDonalds and came ahead of its rival most of the times
with witty responses and satirical comments. The phrase that was used by Burger King
“Why eat with a clown when you can dine with a king” still resonates in my ears and
shows us the level of competitiveness present there and the capability of the marketing
agency that is needed to put the brand above its rival.

This is a post-credit that was played during the movie IT, where Burger King cleverly
used the synopsis of the movie against McD got an above hand.
This was by McD in response as its eatables were covered by Burger King wrapper
no ones willing to snab those fries from that kid.
