11 Learners
PRESENTATION
Context of research
The research, “Causes of
Student’s Stress, its Effects on
their Academic Success , and
Stress Management by
Students” by George Essel and
Patrick Owusu is one research
done that inspired us to do a
research concerning stress.
This thesis’ main
objectives were to
ascertain or identify the
extent to which stress
affects students’ academic
success, health and
general lifestyle, as well as
to inquire and bring to
light measures to
counteract the effects of
existing stress in students.
We got interested in this area because
we would like to know the solutions on
how to overcome stress.
As students we undergo stress when we
are having a hard time doing our
responsibilities. We are compelled to do
this research to help ourselves and
others when we are feeling stressed.
Research question and
significance
 We wanted to find out:
- Why are we stressed?
- Why can’t some overcome stress?
- What are the ways to cope up with stress?
- What kinds of stress leads to depression?
These are important problems because of the
news that are not very appropriate about
stress. Just like news about people
undergoing suicide because of stress.
Research Methods/Design.
 We taught the best way to
answer this question would be by
the survey method.
 The researchers chose this
method because it is appropriate
for the large number of the
respondents, there answers will
serve as reference in determining
the Impact of Stress to Grade 11
Learners.
In determining the Impact
of Stress to Grade 11
Students, the Researchers
used a check list for the
survey research method.
The check list contains the
different series of
questions related on the
study.

Conclusions
 Students are having a hard time doing
all the things they need to do in order to
finish school. We can say that they
really are stressed as their teachers are.
When most Grade 11 students are
stressed they feel angry. They feel
stressed 1 or 3 day/s in a week When
they feel stressed what they’re doing is
listening to music. Music is somewhat
very helpful , it gives us relaxation
whenever we need it.

actually has the ability to change
the way that you think and look at
the world”
