SOLVING PROBLEMS INVOLVING PARTITIVE
PROPORTION
In Partitive proportion, a whole number is divided into parts
that is proportional to the given ratio.
Example 1.
Ana saved P105 from her weekly allowance. She
shared it to her younger brother and sister in a
ratio of 2:3. How much did each of them get?
We need to

Example 2.
The ratio of boys to girls in Grade 6 Aries is 3:5.
