• THE ABOVE DATA SHOWS THE DROP OUT RATES OF BOTH ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN
THE DISTRICT. IT CAN BE SEEN THAT GRADE 1 HAS THE HIGHEST RATE WITH 2.16%, FOLLOWED BY GRADE
9 WITH 2.05% AND GRADE 8 WITH 1. 69%.
• THE RESULTS ARE ATTRIBUTED TO THE FREQUENT TEACHER MOVEMENT AND REASSIGNMENT, TEENAGE
PREGNANCY, AND ILLNESS.
• THE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS STATED ABOVE ARE DATA FROM THE GUIDANCE OFFICE AND ADVISERS
BASED ON THE SCHOOL FORM 2. AS INTERVENTIONS, DORP COORDINATOR WITH THE ADVISERS IN
SJCES WITH SPED PROGRAM AND GUIDANCE COUNSELOR TOGETHER WITH THE ADVISERS AS WELL IN
SJNHS SPEARHEADED SCHOOL- BASED FEEDING PROGRAMS, HOME VISITATIONS, AKAP ( ACTION FOR
KIDS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM), SYMPOSIA ON EFFECTS OF EARLY PREGNANCIES, CREATION OF SPECIAL
