Status

The position of an individual in relation to another or
others,esp. in regard to social or professional standing.

E.g.: -

 They want to maintain the city's status as a major tourist


attraction.
 People of different social and economic statuses
 He wants to improve his status in the community.
 She married a man of status and wealth.
