• SHORT HISTORY
•Owned by the De Leon Family in San
Miguel, Bulacan. It used to be the venue of a
ballroom dancing club, which is known as
Celia Club. It was built around 1921 by
Catalino Sevilla who used to be a municipal
president. It is the only known building in
San Miguel, Bulacan that is 3-stories.

STATE
•This mansion is now slowly becoming
weaker and weaker. A lot of the people
in barangay San Jose are actually
concerned by it and even the
municipality. It has gained some interest
of the people for it to be restored
properly. It can be observed that the
state of the house currently is unstable
and could collapse in different places.

Why should it be
documented?
Since a lot of people are suggesting for the house to be restored, the researchers believe that
there is a reason why the current owners are not restoring it. There is a possibility that it might
cost the owner a lot, not only that, but also maybe they cannot find a proper documentation to
what the house is supposed to look like. It has gained a following in some websites for it to be
restored, for it has been a big part in the culture of San Miguel, Bulacan. There could be a
possibility once it has gained more attention, people would start on restoring it.

Dr. Rizal to publish Noli Me Tangere. It
was built around 1906 and has been
recently preserved and renovated,
except for the sala. It is currently owned
by Ronaldo and Amelia Reyes, who
reconstructed the house’s Narra floors,
walls and mulawin windows.
