ABOUT MATOPETHON
An outdoor Mud obstacle challenging Race, Music
Festival & Soapy Games that will be held on the 28th
& 29th September 2019 at Masai Eco Lodge off the
Nairobi – Namanga Highway (Kajiado County).

EXPECTED ATTENDANCE: 200 participants

PROFILE: 28 – 35 year old earning KSH. 70,000.00


and above monthly and primary household purchase
decision-makers.
OMO set up next to the registration
desk, where every participant would
engage with the brand upon arrival.
The set up included:

1. A white spider tents

2. 2 white lounge seats

3. A Jenga set

4. OMO display stand – with


packets of OMO

DAY 1 – THE SET UP 5. 2 OMO event attendants


1. Team warm up

2. Split entire team into two teams


– OMO Extra Fresh (red team)
& OMO Fast Action (Blue Team)

3. Team branding – OMO Tshirts

4. Teams were tasked to create


chants using the name OMO

5. Team kick off into the mud bath

Team branding – OMO T-shirts


Team was first tasked into the mud
bath, to get a taste of what was to
come. Both teams ran into the mud.

THE MUD BATH


TREASURE HUNT
Teams were now tasked to look for clues in
a certain area. The first team to get the clue
and conduct the task won.

(the task was to get sacks of sand from


another area – each team member carrying
the sack and form different words like –
MATOPETHON. Team Extra Fresh won!
THE OMO WASH
CHALLENGE
This was the second task that included:

1. Two members from each team to put on


clean school uniforms
2. The two team members to go into the mud
pond and dig the pond in search for OMO
3. The OMO was to be used to wash the
uniforms they had on
4. Other team members were to fetch water
using empty 500ml water bottles from
water points far away.
5. First team to wash clean won. (Team Fast
Action won)
The winning team was to air their
clean clothes in a right way on a
hanging line.

The fast action team (the blue team)


did this well and was awarded a
point

THE OMO WASH CHALLENGE


SLIDE FOR FUN
SOAPY SET UP – POWERED BY OMO

The set up had OMO soapy water poured on the run-way that
gave a chance for participants to slide.

The fun part was that the participants were sliding into another
Mud Pond.

Both teams participated and enjoyed the fun.


The Jenga set entertained guests
who did not participate and
decided to remain behind and enjoy
the OMO Jenga set.

The Dj also kept the crowd at the set


up alive with good music to
entertain them.

Meanwhile at the OMO set up


Day 2 was all about the soapy
games – powered by OMO. At the
set up:

OMO teardrops
OMO buckets
OMO soapy water

DAY 2 – THE SET UP


The OMO set up was next to the
pool, next to the Day 2 venue.
Guests engaged in the Jenga Set
and in creation of OMO soapy
water to take to the set up.

As participants checked into the day


2 set up, they were branded with
OMO t-shirts for the day

THE SABUNIFEST
The soapy set up included activities such as:

The warm-up

This included dancing on the soapy platform –


as many tried to find balance, many fell but
enjoyed themselves!
SABUNIFEST – TAG OF WAR
Team extra fresh and team fast action were put to task on the
soapy platform.

As the teams pulled, buckets of OMO were used to pour more


soapy water on the platform to make the task more challenging.

The results were a tie as many fell on this platform – the


Sabunifest
4 * 4 CHALLENGE
The two teams were put in the 4*4 challenge where they had to
find their balance and walk together as fast as possible to win
the challenge.

This involved teamwork, team coordination, listening skills and


body strength.

The read team (team extra fresh) won the race.
