ABSTRACT

•The dream of not having any of health problems can be achieved by

using Nanorobots.
•Nanorobots can act as antibodies in weak immune systems , curing
diseases , repairing damaged tissues.
•Nanorobots could carry and deliver drugs into defected cells.
•The most advanced nano medicine involves the use of nanorobots as
surgeons.
•Nanorobots can completely destroy the pathogens due to which
immunity of the body increases.
•Nanorobots can increase the life span of humans as they repair damaged
tissues.

HISTORY

• Adriano cavalcanti known as nanorobot

pioneer.
• Cavalcanti is the medical nanorobotics
inventor for the practical hardware
architecture of nanorobots , which was
integrated as model based on
nanobioelectronics for applications in
Environmental monitoring, Brain
aneurysm, Diabetes, Cancer and
Cardiology.

TECHNOLOGY
• Nanotechnology is employed in the creation of nanorobots.
• Nanorobots is the application of nanotechnology(engineering of
tiny machines) to the prevention and treatment of diseases in
human bodies.
• The exterior of a nanorobot will likely be constructed of carbon
atoms in diamond structure due to its inert properties and
strength.

MECHANISM

• Nanorobots are introduced into the body by surgery.

• Nanorobots flows through blood and uses blood flow for its
movement.
• Nanorobots contains drugs and deliver them at damaged tissues to
repair them.
• To know where these nanorobots goes we use ultrasonic technology.

20-Oct-19 Dept. of ECE, KITSW 6

OBJECTIVES
• The main of aim of nanorobots is to increase the life span of humans
by curing them from all kinds of diseases with less effort.
• Nanorobots can be used to find damaged tissues and cure them as fast
as possible.
• These nanorobots search for pathogens which causes immunity and
destroy them.
• Nanorobots are capable of noting down the record and report of some
vital signs like temperature ,blood pressure etc…
• We can be able to know the changes happening in our body through
nanorobots as they flow through whole body through blood stream.
• Nanorobots with embedded chemical biosensors are used for detecting
the tumor cells in early stages of cancer.

20-Oct-19 Dept. of ECE, KITSW 7

STRUCTURE AND PARTS OF A NANOROBOT
• Nanorobots have a wide range of
sensors to navigate through human
body.
• They also have transport pipes and
storage tanks to carry and deliver
drugs.
• Lasers are built in these nanorobots
to burn cancer cells and destroy
stones in kidneys.
• The nanorobot will have manipulator
arms which can be used in surgeries.
• These nanorobots are also provided
with swarm intelligence.
• These robots have chemical sensors
to detect target molecules or tissues.

APPLICATIONS
• To destroy cancer cells and leaving healthy cells untouched

20-Oct-19 Dept. of ECE, KITSW 10

APPLICATIONS
• To destroy stones present in kidneys using ultrasound shock waves.
• Nanorobots are also used in heart surgeries and nanodentistry.

ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES

ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES

1. Rapid elimination of disease. 1.Body takes some time to adjust to

them.

2.Damaged or infected tissues can be 2.Design is very complicated.

detected at an earlier stage.
3.The nanorobots should be 100%
3.Nanorobots can be more accurate and accurate otherwise harmful effects may
safer to perform difficult surgeries. occur

4.Due to their durability they can 4.Some times they may go out of
remain operational for years . control.

CONCLUSION

• With the help of all the applications of nanorobots we can conclude

they will play a major role in medical industry in upcoming years.
• They are capable of curing many diseases which are not possible
with ancient methods.
• Nanorobots are going to revolutionize the medical industry in
future.

20-Oct-19 Dept. of ECE, KITSW 13

FUTURE SCOPE
• Many teams are working throughout the world to create
first practical medical nanorobot
• Once they come into light doctors will be able to cure all
the diseases from heart surgery to cancer using these
tiny robots.
• Another major application of these nanorobots will be
re-engineering our bodies to be resistant to all kinds of
diseases.
• Many of the scientists believes that there will be a day
when thousands of nanorobots will be running through
our veins making corrections, healing cuts , bruises etc...
