Capital Subsidy from MOT
The Project is entitled for capital subsidy under the scheme of Financial Assistance for Large
Revenue Generating Projects being implemented by Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India.
Consider the large investments needed in creating infrastructures which can attract large
number of tourists, the Central Government has announced the scheme of Capital Subsidy
for them.
The subsidy under this scheme has a upper limit of Rs. 50.00 Crores subject to maximum of
25% of total project cost and 50% of equity contribution by promoters.
The Project Cost entitled for subsidy includes capital cost incurred for land, material, labour
and transport, Interest paid during construction, insurance, overhead and all other project
related expenses.
