• Choose units in mm (millimeters)

• Draw Ground using rectangle from the origin of the axes.
• Rename the Rectangle to Ground
• Set the orientation of the layer as (0, 0, 0), it will go to bottom of the substrate.

• Rename the Rectangle as patch
• Set the orientation and Z must not be Zero.

• Rename the Rectangle as feedback
• Set the orientation and Z must be equal to the value of patch Z.
• Unite patch and feedback togather using unite option.

• Select XZ axes to draw a rectangle.
• Draw rectangle with the boundaries of Feedback.
• Set the orientation and Z must be equal to the value of patch Z.
• It will connect the feedback with ground.
• Set the excitation port as Lumped Port using right click options.
Some Important Instructions

• Select the Patch as Perfect E (Copper)

• Select the medium as Air
• Set the orientation such that the antenna should lie in the middle of the
box
• Assign the boundaries to this box as Radiation using right click option.

• Add the Analysis setup.


• Choose frequency range.
• And validate the design.
• F range = 7GHz
