1. Balance
- the visual weight of objects, textures, colors and space is evenly distributed
on the screen.
2. Emphasis
-an area in the design that may appear different in size, texture, shape or
color to attract the viewer’s attention.
3. Movement
-visual elements guide the viewer’s eyes around the screen.
4. Pattern, Repetition and Rhythm
-these are the repeating visual element on an image or layout to create unity
in the layout or image.
-Rhythm is achieved when visual elements create a sense of organized
movement.
5. Proportion
-visual elements create a sense of unity where they relate well with one
another.
6. Variety
- this uses several design elements to draw a viewer’s attention.
- Information graphics
- are used to represent information, statistical data, or knowledge in a
graphical manner usually done in a creative way to attract the viewer’s attention.
1. Lines
-are the most basic elements
- it can form shapes that can catch the attention of a viwer.
-they can be sharp, be made up of broken lines and fine or thick lines, and
can create different impressions to viewers.
2. Color
- is one of the powerful and influential elements in an infographic.
- using the right combination of colors, it can catch the attention of a
passerby or even glancing viewers.
3. Shapes
- these are defined by the enclosure created by a combination of multiple
lines.
-shapes express different psychological influence on the audience
especially when combined with different colors.
1. Contrast
refers to differences in values, colors, tectures and other elements to achieve
emphasis and interest
2. Unity
-related to the sense of oneness or wholeness in a wholeness in a work of art.
3. Balance
4. Proportion
5. rhythm
