The leader must be an example to follow. In eight years of being the center of attention, Obama has not starred in a single
scandal. He has maintained composure under the pressure of the media. He always worried about researching and
respecting the cultural norms of the countries he visited. Thanks to him, the image of the United States in the world improved
significantly.

The power of "we." He was referring to the death of Bin Laden, national security or some controversial law, Obama always
used the plural of the first person to speak. Saying "we" instead of "me" invites your team to identify with you and invokes the
power of a possible shared social identity.

The risk is necessary. Obama is not afraid of risks. Not only on difficult issues, such as military strategy, but also in his
public image, the president has taken unprecedented risks in his job. Perhaps the most memorable was his bland
interpretation of ‘Amazing Grace’, a gesture that shows that he does not mind being mocked, all in order to send the message
that the moment deserved.
To be a leader is to stand firm. Obama is used to defending his position in the face of strong opposition. This is what he had
to do at the end of the war in Iraq, legalize gay marriage, restore relations with Cuba and boost his popular health insurance
program, among many other situations. He has even resorted to the famous executive orders to make things happen.

A study from the College of Saint Benedict of Minnesota showed the following personality profile of Barack Obama:

• Presents qualities such as: ambitious, self-confident, slightly dominant, cooperative, restrained and affable, among others.
• Prefers mediation over force when resolving conflicts.
• It is more pragmatic than ideological.
• He prefers to defend his policies in person, instead of letting his team speak for him.
