INTRODUCTION

Television series generally

consists of episodes within a season
that are regularly broadcasted for
entertainment and expression of art.

The stories of TV series are

based on a societal concept mixed
with imagination to provide a
holistic view and make the
spectators engaged.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

1. The study gives understanding on the kind of series are

popular among UPLB students.
2. It will provide a concrete data on the preferred series
of UPLB students which is significant to understand the
rhythm of the students.
3. It will benefit the research regarding television series
as it may contribute essential data for the development
of the study
OBJECTIVES

This study aims to achieve the ff:

1. Use the google drive in conducting the study.

2. Conduct a survey among UPLB students about TV shows using
google forms.
3. Tabulate the top 5 american and korean dramas.
4. Compare American from Korean TV shows.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion,UPLB students mainly watch TV Shows regardless

of country of origin to destress and entertain themselves
from the hustle and bustle of acad life. When it comes to
preferences, American shows dominates over Korean dramas due
to several differences. For one, It is mainly the plot and
characteristic of the shows presented. American Dramas are
more liberated and have complex plotlines and character
development whereas Kdramas are more conservative and appeals
more to young audiences with their sometimes cliched romantic
stories and melodramatic plotline.
