LOCATION
Darjeeling is a town in India's West
Bengal state, in the Himalayan DARJEELING MALL
foothills.. It's famed for the
distinctive black tea grown on
plantations that dot its surrounding
slopes. Its backdrop is Mt.
Kanchenjunga, among the world’s
highest peaks.

LANDFORM
The site is at a higher topographical
level than the most frequented
Darjeeling Mall. One has to walk up
from the Mall along the Mall Road
through various major resorts ,
Bhanu Bhavan and the Gymkhana
Club to reach the site. The northern
part of the site does not have any
building obstruction and gives us a
clear view of the Kanchunjenga
Range. The site doesnot have too
many contour levels but is
significantly higher than the
Northern edge.

& CLIMATE
The site is exposed to the
north and south more in
terms of the length it is
oriented.
Darjeeling has a temperate
climate with wet summers
caused by monsoon rains.

is part of a prominent tourist
track. Windamere, Bhanu
