INTRODUCTION
Electron microscope uses a beam of
electrons to create an image of the specimen.
It has much higher magnification and greater
resolving power.
They are large , expensive and pieces of
equipment , generally standing alone in a small ,
specially designed room and requiring trained
personnel to operate them.

constructed the first
electron microscope
in 1931.
TYPES OF ELECTRON MICROSCOPE
Electron microscopes are of two types:
Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM)
Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
