SHOOTINGS

 NEW FORMS OF PAINTING 2D
My 2D part of my project will consist
on depicting a school shooting victim
by using the technique backgound
intergration. As seen in the images I
will make a student silhouette and
with graffiti I will paint the students
form over the flowers (without
damaging the flowers natural
colours). As a result the flower will
be seen in the chest of the student
symbolizing a bullet hole shot by the
school shooter.

• My New Forms of Painting reference

is Banksy. Banksy is an unknown
street and political artist that goes
through the streets of England
painting with graffiti images that
have a certain dark humour
meaning to real life problems. In my
case I will use the graffiti painting of
the twin towers were he uses a
flower to represent the crash of an
airplane in the 9/11 terrorist attack,
using the technique background
intergration.
 THE OBJECT USES AND
TRANSFORMATIONS
• For my 3D part of my project I will use
the technique assembalge. The final
piece will consist on making a kid or an
teenager with materials that represent
what could have coused the individual
to take these actions. For example a
child can take this course of actions
becouse of the use of drugs and
alcohol that could have make him
aggressive. Also having a disfunctional
family or being lonely can couse a
serious metal disorder that can lead to
a school shooting, this can be
represented with a damged teddy
bear, video consoles to represnt the
time someone can spend without
proper socialization and lack of real

• For My Object Uses And
Transformations reference I will use
Noah Scalin. Scalin is an American
artist that is known for his creations
using assembalge as his main
technique and many others. I will use
the pistol he created his human
orgnas to symbolize an element can
be constructed with different
materials and still depict the same
meaning. For examples this gun is
representing the harm it can do to
the human by damaging his/her
organs.

projects purpose.
 PROBLEMATIC EXPLANATION

• The problema I want to represnt are the school shooting. A school shooting is
an attack at an educational institution by a member of the the school or by
an outside individual. This attack involves firearms, and usually someone
gets injured but always the students involved are left very scared and it
becomes in a huge deal to the families and schools in the country. Until now
there havent been many reported school shooting in Colombia but that
doesnt mean it wont ever happen, and we must be prepared and aware if a
situation like this ever happens.
 WHY SHOULD YOU BUY MY PROJECT

• You should buy my project because Im trying to generate concsience that a

situation like this could happen. Also to show if someone is experincing
problems in school and at home is completely normal to get help and taking
this course of action is not the propiate way to solve your problems.
