OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING
CMO No. 8, Series of 2017
1. Orient faculty participants about the Philosophy of Liberal
Education away from the strictly disciplinal and remedial
thrust of current GE courses.

2. Enable the faculty participants to teach the interdisciplinary


GE courses using the new materials .

3. Enable qualified faculty participants to serve as Trainor of


other GE faculty.

4. Recognize, share and disseminate best practices in general


education.
