    •Miguel likes vegetables. He has
    vegetables garden. His garden
    has tomato plants, eggplants,
    okra and carrots. He counted his
    plants as he watered them..

    Discuss the given
    pictograph through guided
    questions.
    Guided Practice
    •Miguel’s friend named Mark
    has a vegetable garden too.
    These are his vegetable
    plants. They are all vines.

    things or ideas. A legend is an
    explanation of the symbol

    •Make your own pictograph
    by choosing your favorite
