Learn the material of promoting product carefully
because your mid-term exam will be about
promoting product. Read the material from this slide
and from your own book page 63-69.

Learning I will give you the mid-term exam next week.

Objectives In this topic, you will learn how:


1. to present a product to audiences by using proper
English.
2. to create certain marketing strategies (poster,
brochure, short video, etc.)
 Promoting product can be done in front of target
audiences. The goal is to present our product
focusing on its strengths and how our product is
better that other brands or competitors.

should make it attractive. DO not make your

 In promoting your product, there are at least two
things you need to prepare:
 Presentation.
 Marketing content such as poster, brochure, or short
video.
 When you present your product later by using
power point slides, make your slides as simple as
possible.

 There are 5 parts you need to talk about in your


presentation later:
Presentation 1. Introducing the product
2. Explaining the strength of product
3. Telling the product variety and price
4. Telling how to get the product
5. Closing the presentation
You can see how to express those ideas by looking at
your own book page 64.
 Advertising the product is important.

 Because today is the digital era, you need to make


use of social media to promote your product such
as facebook, Instagram, twitter, etc.

Marketing  In your poster/brochure later, include all important


Content information related to your product such as the
name of product, price, qualification/ strength of
product, how to purchase the product.

 Do not forget to make your marketing content as


attractive as possible.
 Learn and read carefully the material about

 Think about what product/ service you will
promote as your mid-term exam next week.

 You can choose one of them:


1. Present product that already exists in real world
(examples: Samsung smartphone, Honda
Assignment motorcycle, informa furniture, etc)

3. Restaurant/ your own food product.

 Not only product, but you can also present service


product such as photography, design, economic
consultant, etc.
 Report your product that you will present in your
own class group in WA.

 Make a list consisting of your name and your


product no later than 10 April 2020.
