 What is mass?
 It`s the amount of matter in an object.
 If the objects are light you measure in grams.(g)
 If the objects are heavy you measure the mass in kilograms.(kg)
 1 kg = 1000 g
 You measure heavier things like an elephant in tonnes. Huge things.
 You use scales and balances to measure the mass of diferente objects.
HOW TO READ A SCALE
Look at the following example:

What is the mass of the bunch of bananas?


OBJECTIVE: TO CONVERT KILOGRAMS IN
GRAMS AND VICE VERSA
Another example:
 The mass of a bag of mangos is 1Kg and 200 g

 So …1Kg = 1000 g +200 g

 I can say that the mass of the bag of mangos is 1200 g.

 The mass of a bag of apples is 1500 g

 So the mass of the bag of apples is 1Kg and 500 g
