 Slight Changes to the actual course title: Palynofacies

Palynology has been added too.

The diferrence in the 2 i.e. Palynofacies and Palynology will be discussed later
in the lectures of the course.

Since this is a new course, the plans will be to let the student know about the
whole line of how it works i.e.

Data collection procedures---Sample Preparation---Analysis---Interpretation of

the data.
 The problem however the centre’s student will face is the availability of the
resources in the centre for practicing this in their research stages, because lack
of the proper laboratories, technicians, instruments

However, for the time being, this can be overcome by using the facilities in
various laboratories in the centre though we don’t have any independent
palynology laboratory.

Besides, I have submitted proposals for developing the independent

palynology-paleotnology-sediemtnology joint/separate laboratories).

I have put some studenships in that project as well just in case it works!!

Exam Format

Total Marks 100

Presentation/mid term exam format: 20 marks

I will distribute the research articles among the students and the students and give
them dates of their presentation.

Assignment Marks; 20

Paper review marks; 20

Final Written Exam: 40 marks
