ABSTRACT
 Magnetic suspension is the technology for supporting an
object without contact by means of a magnetic force.
 Magnetic suspension systems have many advantages, which
are the realization of high speed due to no friction.
 clean rooms because of no generation of the dirt, and the
applications in the cosmos because of the lubrication free.
 These magnetic levitation systems use various methods to
control the suspension force.
 Using of the neodymium magnet instead of ferrite magnet.
INTRODUCTION

 The suspension system supports the vehicle weight and absorb shocks.

 Suspension system reduce excess energy from road shocks.

 It is responsible for smoothing out of ride and keeping the vehicle in control.

 Provide consistent handling and breaking.

 Introduction of neodymium magnet.

 Zero power control method

INTRODUCTION

 noncontact spinning system.

 permanent magnets and rotary actuators.

 a novel magnetic suspension system using the variable flux path control method.

 zero power control method is examined.

 Hanging type magnetic suspension system using a permanent magnet and a

linear actuator.
Literature

 S. Gopinath , R.J. Golden Renjith , J.Dinesh kumar [2011]

In this project two magnets are placed in a piston. One magnet is fixed with
piston. Another one is movable, which is connected with rod. With magnets are
replaced by air.
 V.V.Borole, prof. K.K.Chaudhari [2009]
are studied and describe the Electromagnetic suspension system for automobile
and study different way to recover energy from suspension system by using piezo-
electric material to increase the efficiency of the automobile.

 Basic magnetic behavior

 Mounting of the magnet

 Using of the neodymium instead of ferrite magnet.

 working of the neodymium magnetic shock observer.

Components
Supporting Frame Neodymium Magnet

Hollow tube Fastener

Advanteges
 Maintenance Cost is low.
 No oil is used in this like other shock absorber hence there is No
leakage.
 It gives more comfort than other shock absorber.
 Shock absorber cost will be less.
 Free from wear adjustment.
 Installation is simplified very much.
Application

 For automobile application

 Industrial application
